Chelsea return to training today (Wednesday) as Jose Mourinho’s begins his preparations for the 2014-15 campaign.

The likes of John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic, Mohamed Salah and Mark Schwarzer will all be working up a sweat at the club’s Cobham base.

Boss Mourinho will hold his first session this afternoon after the Blues players have had their lunch in Surrey.

Double sessions are to take place tomorrow and Friday as the Special One turns up the heat ahead of next week’s opening pre-season fixture at Wycombe Wanderers.

Terry, Ivanovic, Matic, Salah and Schwarzer have all been named in the provisional Chelsea squad for the trip to Adams Park on Wednesday week.

Squad members involved in this summer’s World Cup will not report back until the Blues depart for their European training camp.

Friendlies in Austria, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Germany have all been lined up as part of a two-week tour.

Some players will be granted an extended break, depending on the extent of their participation in Brazil.
