CRAIG DOBSON has been given rave reviews by new team-mate Charlie MacDonald.

Dobson became Brentford's fourth signing in a week when he put his pen to a two-month contract with the Bees.

The 25-year-old has been training with Andy Scott's men since being released by MK Dons earlier this year. And just like MacDonald, the right-winger has battled his way through the non-league football circuit too, impressing for the likes of Stevenage Borough and Cambridge City.

MacDonald said: "I'm very impressed with him. He's a tidy player, likes to get hold of the ball and makes things happen.

"It's an addition to our squad - if we can add creativity from players like him to create chances, then great."

"I've played against him a couple of times in non-league when he was at Stevenage. He's a sharp player, and when he's on his game he's a handful."

"His job is to get crosses in the box, and if he can do that he'll have great success at Brentford."
