The rivals of West London sides QPR, Brentford and Fulham are starting to put the wheels in motion as they prepare for the new campaign which begins in August.

  • Hull City have appointed Pat Mountain as their new goalkeeping coach. The club have also appointed Lee Darnbrough as their new head of recruitment.
  • Cardiff City have a deal to sign Rotherham United striker Danny Ward. The 25-year-old is expected to be confirmed later today and will move for a fee of £1.6m plus add ons.
  • Preston have agreed a permanent deal to sign goalkeeper Declan Rudd from Norwich City. The 26-year-old made 69 appearances for the Lilywhites during two loan deals at Deepdale, and will join on a three-year deal.
  • Bolton winger Filipe Morais has signed a new one-year deal with the newly-promoted club.
