Danny Care not only wants to beat Leicester Tigers tomorrow night, but wants his Harlequins side to emulate them.

The Tigers have have won their last seven Premiership games on the bounce, pretty much securing a play off berth alongside Saracens and Northampton, leaving Quins to scrap it out for the fourth and final spot with Bath.

Quins are finding form at the right time too at a time of season when each game is a cup final, sandwiching their Amlin Cup quarter final win at Stade Francais with wins over London Irish and Sale Sharks, all but putting the latter out of the play off picture.

Quins host Leicester tonight knowing they have to keep their run going, and end the Tigers' won winning streak, if they are to keep the pressure on Bath for a top four finish.

Care said: “It's what Leicester do – whatever they have done in the previous six months, they always finish the season strongly. We now have to do what they do every year and make sure we finish even stronger.

“They are in great form, but we will have to fight fire with fire. They are fantastic across the pitch, and have players who can win them a game in an instant. We'll have to make our tackles, as watching them against Wasps, Manu Tuilagi was breaking tackles for fun.

“We have set ourselves high standards, and one of our goals in a top four place. But it is the first time all year we have been able to name a consistent side, and although those who have come in have done well, you want a consistent side.”
