Brentford trio Maxime Colin, Ryan Woods and Nico Yennaris all face late fitness tests for Saturday's trip to Cardiff.

Colin suffered a calf strain in the 2-0 win over Bristol City with Josh Clarke stepping up for the victory over Leeds by the same scoreline.

The convincing win over the Yorkshire side came at a price as Nico Yennaris went off with a dead hip and Ryan Woods was forced off with an ankle injury.

“Maxime Colin is struggling with a calf injury. He had a strain and had a scan. He'll be struggling for Saturday,” Brentford head coach Dean Smith confirmed.

“Nico Yennaris came off with a whack on the hip. Ryan Woods got caught on his Achilles and played through it for 85 minutes on Tuesday is also a doubt.

“We'll have a look how they are and take it from there.”

Josh McEachran is still absent as he recovers from the ankle injury sustained at Sheffield Wednesday in February. Alan Judge remains absent a year on from his double leg break at Ipswich.
