Brentford's winning run came to an end as they were beaten at Cardiff City by two goals to one.
The Bees took the lead through Sergi Canos just before the break but the Bluebirds hit back straight after half time with Sean Morrison heading home from a corner.
Defending balls into the box became a problem and the Welsh side grabbed the winner with just under 15 minutes remaining in the contest through Peter Whittingham.
It was a disappointing result for the Bees, who did not reach the heights of their previous two games
