CHELSEA are not about to get an easy ride at Old Trafford, just because Sir Alex Ferguson's team have already clinched the title, according to Rafa Benitez.

The Blues' interim boss takes his team back to Manchester United on Sunday – the scene of a recent thrilling 2-2 draw in the FA Cup – and the west Londoners need points in their quest for a top four finish.

But Benitez refuses to accept that his team will face a less motivated side than normal at the weekend, pointing to United's competitiveness last week in drawing at Arsenal.

“I don't agree with that,” he said. “I think they could have won the game at Arsenal in the last 15 minutes and they have a very good squad.

“When you play against a top side, if you are competitive, always you want to win, so I think they will try to win and we'll try to do well in front of their fans, so it will be tough.

“I think it's always important to play against the good teams – the top sides and top managers, and hopefully we will do well, but we know that it will be very difficult and we have to see how we are tomorrow (Friday) and be ready for Sunday.”
