AKOS Buzsaky says Neil Warnock has proved to be the perfect choice of manager for QPR.

Saturday's game against Sven Goran Eriksson's Leicester City will mark a year in charge for Warnock – who began his QPR career with a home win against West Brom and has gone on to record 23 wins from 50 games in charge, losing just nine.

Buzsaky, who had a well documented falling out with former boss Jim Magilton, said: "You can see the improvement in the squad from the players he's signed.

"He knows about the Championship, how to do well in this league and he was a great, great choice to be the manager.

"I would say we have a good relationship. I think he knows my ability and I always believe in him because I know he's a good manager.

"Even when I wasn't playing, I knew if I worked hard, I would be back in the side. He trusts me and it goes both ways.

"I think that's not only with me, but with all the players. And he makes sure the players give everything that they've got, even if they have a bad game.

"That's the main thing. That's why we are top of the league."
