Alex Pritchard is a doubt for Brentford’s game with Bolton after sustaining a dead calf in the 1-1 draw at Derby.

The Tottenham loanee missed the 1-0 loss at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night but could come back into contention for the visit of Bolton.

Manager Mark Warburton said: “He’s recovering. He’s with the medical team. Sheffield Wednesday was a couple of days too early.

On the mend: Chris Long

“He stayed with the club. Sometimes with injuries you want to go back and review them. It’s the owning club looking after their asset. They know we look after the players.”

Chris Long has been absent with a knee injury and suffered an injury in Everton U21s penalty defeat to Leicester earlier today and Warburton has crossed his fingers that the striker will be available for Saturday.

He added: “We have to develop that trust of the Premier League clubs.”

Toumani Diagouraga will also be assessed after being taken off against Sheffield Wednesday.
