The son of a former Premier League star will be aiming to give Brentford a headache when they face Rotherham tomorrow.

Jack Barmby, whose father is former Tottenham and England player Nicky, joined Steve Evans' side on loan from Leicester City this week.

And the striker, who is set to make his debut against the Bees at Griffin Park, is an exciting prospect according to Paul Davis from the Sheffield Star.

He said: "Barmby has no Championship experience but the 20-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United and arrives with the reputation as a classy forward operator with an eye for a spectacular goal."

Davis' second choice is Richard Smallwood, who signed on a permanent deal from Middlesbrough in August after starring in the Millers' League One promotion season last year while on loan.

"Smallwood is a holding midfielder who has been Rotherham's best performer in recent weeks," said Davis.

"He gets a foot in, reads the game well and always available to take possession from a teammate."

Davis final choice is centre-half Kari Arnason who has made more than 100 appearances for the Millers.

The Icelandic international has been with the side since their League Two days having signed on a free from Aberdeen in the summer of 2012.

But according to Davis, Arnason's experience in Scotland means he's not been fazed by life in the Championship.

Davis said: "He's more at home in the second tier than in the lower leagues with his vision and assured first touch.

"Arnason is prone to the odd mistake, but his international pedigree shows through in most of what he does. His long throw a big weapon too."
