Brentford FC's League Two game at Morecambe tonight will go ahead after snow doubts.

The north-west coast town has not had the same level of snow which has blighted London and other parts of the country, and the pitch at Christie Park is playable.

The weather is also better in Morecambe today, and the match referee this morning gave the game the thumbs-up after a pitch inspection.

However, travelling Bees fans are being advised to drive carefully and leave in plenty of times are there are still some poor road conditions and traffic problems.

Nathan Elder wll miss the game for Brentford as he sits out the third of his four-game ban.

The Bees will have no new faces in their line-up as the transfer window deadline came and went last night with no movements in or out of Griffin Park.
