JOHN Akinde is out to show Wycombe Wanderers what they're missing tomorrow.

The Bristol City loan star lines up against his former club when Gary Waddock's strugglers visit Griffin Park .

The 20-year-old striker scored seven goals in 11 games to help the Chairboys to promotion last season, including two on his debut against Brentford in March.

But he was less successful this time around, finding the net just once in six games, and was sent-off against Oldham which ended his spell in Buckinghamshire.

However, Akinde, who made his debut in the Bees 4-0 demolition of Gillingham on Saturday, is out to get back on the goal trail for the Bees.

He said: "I thought I done okay last week. I was disappointed I didn't get a goal but hopefully it'll come.

"I'm here to improve, get some games and score goals. I just want to be playing."
