Denmark's World Cup dreams remain alive after Brentford pair Andreas Bjelland and Henrik Dalsgaard combined to set up Tottenham star Christian Eriksen for the only goal of their win in Montenegro.

The Bees defender played a delightful ball out to the full back on the right flank and his header was perfectly weighted for the Spurs ace in the middle.

Eriksen controlled the ball perfectly and drove a shot with the outside of the boot into the net to give the Danes the victory in Podgorica.

The victory was Denmark's fourth in a row in qualifying and it keeps their hopes of automatic qualification for next year's tournament in Russia alive.

To progress to the finals automatically, they must beat Romania and hope that Montenegro win against Poland.

Defeat could spell the end of their World Cup dreams if they lose, coupled with a Montenegro victory.

Any other set of results and the Danes will face off against another second placed side to qualify for the World Cup in November.
