Ryan Woods is only focused on becoming the best player he can be as the Brentford star is, once again, the subject of transfer speculation.
The former Shrewsbury man was linked with a move away in the summer, and reports have suggested that Burnley and Swansea are interested in a January move.
But, for the midfielder, he tends to ignore it and leaves it to his agent instead to sort out.
He said: “That was the summer. It's gone now. Obviously, I've seen it myself. I've seen things on Twitter that's tagged me in it.
“I don't take notice of it to be honest. That's what your agent is for. I'm concentrating on being the best I can be.”
The subject of tagging players in Twitter posts has been a hot topic in recent days after Neal Maupay's miss.
Some individuals referenced the Frenchman's handle on the social media website, which led to consternation among some, while others thought it fair.
Woods, though, opted to sit on the fence and played down the impact of seeing criticisms pop up on his phone.
He added: “At the end of the day, everyone is human. We all have notifications and we look at things sometimes.
“That comes with being a player. It's great when they're nice and not so great when they're not very nice.
“We're striving to be the best we can be. It's an opinion game. You take it as it comes.”
