Brentford midfielder Ryan Woods is ignoring Ian Holloway's claims about Brentford and is fully focused on doing his talking on the pitch.
The QPR boss has made a number of disparaging statements about the Bees during his time as a Sky pundit and after he returned to the Loftus Road hotseat.
Woods, though, is not listening to what Holloway has to say and is only focusing on getting a result on Monday night.
“I remember the statement he made last year but that's Ian Holloway for you. We're concentrating on us and making sure we go there and put on a good performance,” he said.
“We've lost one in 11. That's play-off form, if not promotion form. We've got to take each day as it comes, make sure we do the right things and do what we normally do.”
Derby game or not, Woods isn't going to be taking it any differently, although he fully understands what it means to the supporters.
“It's going to be very good. It's a great atmosphere and it always is and we're going to continue scoring goals,” Woods added.
“We take each game as it comes. There's always that bit of build up, particularly on the day before the game because of the atmosphere around the place with fans in the stadium earlier than normal.
“We always take each day as it comes. We'll do the normal things that we normally would do and hopefully we can get another three points.
“I know they like to get crosses into the box. They're a big team, compared to us, but we never worry about the opposition, not ourselves and that's exactly the same as what we'll do.
“We're only concentrating on what we're doing. We've looked into it. We've seen clips of what they're good at but we're focused on how we're going to affect them.”
