Romaine Sawyers would love for Brentford to have a trip to Arsenal in the FA Cup.

The Bees reached round four for the first time since 2012 after seeing off National League side Eastleigh.

And a trip up the Piccadilly line would be ideal for Gunners fan Sawyers as he has never had the chance to play at the Emirates Stadium.

“I'm an Arsenal fan so that would be nice. I've never played at the Emirates,” Sawyers said when asked who he would really want to face.

Fancy a trip to the Emirates?

“It's another football game. I know people want a big team but whether we do or not, we want to put a performance and reach round five.”

Sawyers scored the goal of the game as Brentford beat the Spitfires by five goals to one, blasting in a volley after being teed up by Lasse Vibe. Tom Field also found the net twice with Vibe, Yoann Barbet also getting their names on the scoresheet.

He said: “It just fell nicely and I tried to make clean contact and get into the bottom goal. It was a great team performance and I added to it with a goal.”
