Maxime Colin is a doubt for Brentford's game with Leeds on Tuesday after hobbling out of the Bees' 2-0 win over Bristol City with a calf injury.
The Frenchman was replaced by Josh Clarke midway through the second half and left Griffin Park on crutches.
With the Bees back in action on Tuesday it means that Colin faces a race against time to be fully fit to face promotion chasing Leeds.
The Yorkshire side were dealt a blow on Saturday as they were beaten by fellow top six side Reading to leave them in fifth place.
Automatic promotion appears beyond them with second placed Brighton 11 points ahead with seven games to go so Garry Monk's side will be keen to ensure they have the second leg at home.
To do that though, they need to finish third or fourth with Reading and Huddersfield one and two points above them respectively.
