Maxime Colin believes that the difference between a good centre back and a great one is what a player does going forward.

The Frenchman scored four goals for Brentford last season and was one of the club's most consistent performers.

And he would like to become even better at what he brings to the side going forward.

“I would like to be more decisive and bring more dangerous situations and provide more assists. That’s where I need to improve. I want to bring more goals,” he said.

Jota takes on Jake Bidwell

Former Bee Jake Bidwell, now at QPR, is another player who believes that a full backs' abilities going forward are what determines the player.

Colin added: “I would agree with that. Every full back needs to do the defensive job first but once that’s done you need to bring some offensive and create it.

“A very good right back will defend well but a great one will defend well and bring attacking situations.”
