Andreas Bjelland has only been a Brentford regular since the start of September but he has been impressed by what he has seen in his defensive team mates.
While his best position is in the middle, Bjelland has no qualms playing there as it keeps him involved.
But he has been impressed by Dean and Egan with Yoann Barbet also pushing the three of them for a role in the side.
He said: “All of them are good. It's good for the team that we have competition for that spot. It keeps you sharp and then it's up to the manager to choose who he wants.”
Behind the back four, Brentford have the impressive Daniel Bentley, who has won the Bees several points already this season.
Bjelland added: “He gives us confidence. He's saved points for us in the last second. He's been really important for us.”
Up front, Scott Hogan has found the net on eight occasions this season and he has impressed the Dane, who would have spent time with him as they recovered from their knee injuries.
“I've been really impressed to see how he's been coming back and his shape. The goals are going to come for us,” he said.
Alan Judge is getting closer to a return to action after suffering a broken leg in April and Bjelland is looking forward to seeing the Irishman back.
The defender explained: “He did really well last season. We're just looking forward to seeing him on the pitch whenever that is.”
