Brentford's Danish duo Henrik Dalsgaard and Andreas Bjelland have been called up to their country's squads for their crunch World Cup Qualifying games with Montenegro and Romania.

The Danish Dynamite are level on points with Montenegro, but behind them after losing 1-0 to them last year, and are three behind Poland, who they beat in the previous international break and two wins could book their spot in Russia next year.

They face Montenegro in Podgorica on October 5, knowing that victory could put them on the verge of at least a play-off spot. Poland face Armenia, who have six points and a slip up could see the Danes in with a real chance of securing direct qualification.

They face Romania on October 8, with Poland and Montenegro facing off, meaning that a second victory could propel Denmark to Russia without the need to go through the play-offs.

Bjelland has won 25 caps for his country, with Dalsgaard having seven.
