Brentford duo Lasse Vibe and Andreas Bjelland both sold the club to summer signing Henrik Dalsgaard.

The Dane became Brentford's first summer signing when the Bees agreed a deal with Zulte Waregem in June.

The 27-year-old joined up with the squad for the first time yesterday and revealed that the duo felt his style of play would fit in at Griffin Park.

“Lasse Vibe and Andreas Bjelland were both very positive about the club,” Dalsgaard told the club's official website.

“They were also very positive about me coming to the Championship because they think that it would suit me very well.

“Right-back or right wing-back are my two best positions. Getting forward from the back is exactly how I want to play.

“I have big lungs so I want to get forward. Compared to the Belgian league I can use my body more here which is where my strengths are.”
