The absence of main man Jota was notable as Brentford wrapped up their pre-season training game with a 1-1 draw against Lausanne-Sport.

The Bees took the lead through Lasse Vibe and dominated the first half, but the second period belonged to the Swiss side who were much the better team in the second half and battled for a deserved draw.

Brentford used 19 players over the course of the 90 minutes, and it seems the changes somewhat disrupted their flow as the Swiss rolled them over in the second period.

Lausanne-Sport looked fired up for the game, with the fixture being their final pre-season game before returning to domestic action.

However the result against a good team will be pleasing for Dean Smith's team, who look to continue their preparations for the start of the Championship season.
