Nico Yennaris is out to help Brentford gain revenge for their 3-0 mauling suffered at the hands of QPR in March.

Junior Hoilett, Tjaronn Chery and Sebastian Polter all scored for the Hoops to give them bragging rights over the Bees.

And Yennaris is determined to put that day to bed by helping Brentford claim their first victory at Loftus Road since 1964.

He said: “It's a chance to get revenge. It was 3-0 last time. We'll go there with a clear mind and play the game and not the occasion.”

The former Arsenal man is calling on the Bees supporters to stick by the squad and ensured them that the squad are fully aware of how important the game against QPR is to the fans.

“We've known from the past how much these games mean to the fans. Everyone has got to be at it in training and then focus on getting a result this week and the following week,” Yennaris added.

“Stick by us and support us like they always have done on away trips. We're all in it together.”
