Brentford will make a late call on Lasse Vibe ahead tomorrow's Championship clash at home to Barnsley.
The striker, who missed two months of the season with an injury he picked up just four games in, went off with another knock in the win over Fulham a fortnight ago and missed last week's defeat at Hull City.
Vibe is now back in training, but will have a delayed fitness test to see if he's ready to thrown back into the fray against the Tykes.
“Lasse trained with us Thursday, and we'll have a chat later on to see if he's ready for tomorrow, to be a starter or be on the bench,” said Bees boss Dean Smith.
“But we're not sure if it's going to be too early or not. It will be a late decision as to whether he pushes for this game or not, knowing we've got a busy period coming up.”
Fellow Dane Henrik Dalsgaard, who went off injured in the win at Birmingham at the start of last month, is also back in training and could even make one of the two games either side of Christmas.
“Henrik's done a session with us today so he'll probably be in full time training next week, pushing maybe for Norwich or Aston Villa,” Smith added. “It depends on how his fitness is as he's obviously not played in six weeks.”
Aside from that, Smith has no new injury concerns, with Alan Judge continuing to be eased back in after coming through 70 minutes of a B team game against Wolves this week.
