Nico Yennaris revealed he hasn't had any texts from Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton ahead of Brentford's meeting with Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
Rovers are coming to Griffin Park knowing that a victory could see them survive at the Tricky Trees' expense, while Birmingham are not safe either.
Warburton originally signed Yennaris but the pair haven't been in touch this week as the Forest boss hopes the Bees can make their lives easier when they face Ipswich at the same time.
Yennaris said: “No, I've not had any texts from him. They've got their own game to worry about. We've got ours to worry about. We've got our game on Sunday and go from there.”
With the chance to unwind and have a break just over 24 hours away there could be an end-of-term feel in the camp but Yennaris insisted it was business as usual.
He added: “The gaffer said to us about the importance of finishing on a high and going into it with the right frame of mind. It's business as usual until the final whistle Sunday and then we can unwind.”
