Brentford are determined to right the wrongs of their 5-0 defeat to Norwich at the start of December, insists full back Tom Field.

The Bees were outclassed by the Canaries and goals from Jacob Murphy, Graham Dorrans, Robbie Brady, Nelson Oliveira and man of the match Alex Pritchard sealed a heavy defeat for Dean Smith's side.

The squad held a dressing room inquest, which has been compared to the row conducted at Stevenage in 2013, and have picked up seven points from a possible 12 since then.

They face their tormentors on New Year's Eve and, for Field, the chance to put things right is what is motivating him and the rest of the squad.

He said: “We're thinking about putting it right. We'll be working hard in training and show it on the pitch.

“It was difficult but I think it helped us as we've got seven points from 12 and if we keep doing it we can bounce back up the table.”
