Jordan Rhodes has warned his Brentford FC team-mates they must take their chances against League Two promotion-rivals Bury on Saturday.

The on-loan striker, who's scored six goals in eight games since joining from Ipswich Town, was among the guilty men who wasted gilt-edged chances to wrap up the points at Rochdale last week. Rhodes, Charlie MacDonald and Nathan Elder all missed sitters at Spotland, but Brentford hung on for the win.

But Rhodes reckons it could be a different if they're not more clinical when the Shakers come to Griffin Park.

He said: "We've got to finish teams off. Both me and Charlie MacDonald could've scored more at Rochdale, but you can smile about it afterwards.

"It's a bit of a worry we're not finishing chances. It was one of those days where we weren't putting our chances away, and you just though it might come and bite you on your backside."
