Tony Craig has signed a new contract at Brentford.
The 29-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire in the summer but he will now remain at Griffin Park until the summer of 2017.
He has clocked up more than 100 appearances for the Bees since his move from Millwall, who the Bees beat 3-2 on Saturday, two years ago.
“It was a great occasion for myself and my family,” he said.
“I’ve got some family in Millwall and some who wanted the Brentford tickets. It’s a special occasion for me personally.
“We knew what was coming at us, but we knew their strengths and weaknesses. We’ve got to learn from that, as going from 2-0 up to 2-2 isn’t good. But at least we got the three points.”
