Andreas Bjelland is desperate to put Brentford's 4-3 defeat to Nottingham Forest right when they host Bristol City on Tuesday night.

The Bees' defensive mistakes let them down against the Tricky Trees in their first home game of the campaign but they can put things right against Lee Johnson's Robins.

And the Dane believes that having the chance to bounce back quickly can only be a good thing.

He said: “That's the good thing about this league. We have a game at Griffin Park. We have to show to ourselves and the supporters that we can bounce back and get three points.”

Brentford will be looking at the mistakes made in training and are keen to ensure that conceding four goals, especially at home, never happens again.

Bjelland added: “We still need to learn from this. We can't let them score four at home. Again, we need to bounce back and we can do that fast.”

The Bees claimed a double against the Robins last season, winning 1-0 at Ashton Gate in December and 2-0 at Griffin Park in April.
