Brentford will open up their SkyBet Championship fixtures with a trip to League One champions Sheffield United on August 5.

The Bees will open up their home campaign against former manager Mark Warburton's Nottingham Forest on August 12.

Unlike last season, Brentford's trip to Aston Villa is scheduled to take place on a Saturday afternoon (September 9) but is followed up with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday three days later.

Brentford are at home to Villa on Boxing Day before hosting the Owls on December 30.

2017 kicks off with a New Year's Day trip to Wolves before the FA Cup third round.

The Bees' first trip to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland is slated to take place on February 17, which is also FA Cup fifth round day.

The final away day is at Barnsley on April 28 with Hull visiting Griffin Park on the final day of the season.
