Brentford will look to help Sergi Canos keep his emotions in check, while attempting to keep the enthusiasm in his game.

The Spaniard, who returned to Griffin Park from Norwich in January, never gives anything less than 100 per cent in a Bees shirt but, when things don't go his way, the 20-year-old becomes easily frustrated.

Canos is a popular member of the Brentford squad and has the ability to go to the next level and, if he can remain positive when things are difficult, he will become a better player.

He said: “It took him a long time to get his first goal. He probably gets frustrated a bit quicker than others as he knows the ability is there.

“I think, emotionally, it is something we'll work on with him but he's a great player to have around and he'll go to the next level as well.”

The former Liverpool man scored four goals in 18 appearances for the Bees since his Griffin Park return this year.
