Dean Smith has warned his stuttering Brentford stars not to take their positions in the starting line-up for granted ahead of Monday night's clash with QPR.

The Bees head coach has named an unchanged XI for the past three games but was rewarded with an uncharacteristically flat performance against Burton.

And he knows he has some selection dilemmas to answer such as whether to start Sergi Canos or recall Kamo Mokotjo or Josh McEachran, while Lewis Macleod is itching to return to the starting line-up as well.

He said after the draw with Burton: “It gives me some selection posers but I've got that all the time. It was difficult to go with the same starting line up three games on the spin.

“The Leeds game was one of the best performances of the season and we should have got something at Cardiff. I've got people pushing now and that's what I want.”
