Dean Smith is likely to ring the changes for Brentford's home game with Burton Albion.

The Bees' nine match unbeaten run came to an end as they were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff on Saturday.

The west Londoners, with the exception of Henrik Dalsgaard and long-term absentees Alan Judge and Rico Henry, have a fully fit squad to choose from and changes are likely.

Smith said: “Henrik won't be fit for that game. We'll have to wait and see how he is. Josh McEachran got on today.

“Kamo will be fresh for Tuesday so we can make some changes if we want to. We'll see how the players are when they report for training.”

Smith won't let Neal Maupay's miss impact his decision making as he gave his backing to the French striker.

He added: “The kid has scored six goals already and scored two in the last two games. It happens. It won't happen again but it will happen to better players as well.”
