Nico Yennaris admitted Brentford use silencing the home supporters as one of their major strengths with their away form.

The Bees have won twice at home, against Millwall and Leeds, but have emerged victorious away from Griffin Park on three occasions, beating Bolton, Preston and Birmingham.

And Yennaris believes it's because the Bees' style of play puts fans on the backs of the home team and that gives them an edge.

He said: “I guess when we're away from home we don't have the stadium on our backs when it's a tight game.

“When we go away from home, with the way we play, the fans get frustrated. We like to dominate possession and create chances.”

Yennaris has been in excellent form so far this season and he already has four goals to his name and he is looking to add more strikes between now and the season's end.

He added: “I've been pleased with my performances this season. I'm in a really good mood and in good form.

“I probably should have had a few more to be fair. I'll keep trying to get in the box and get on the end of things.”
