Brentford's fixture list has not been released for even a week and two changes have already been made to the schedule.

The Bees will travel to Birmingham on Wednesday November 1, rather than October 31, because the Blues' derby day against Aston Villa has been moved to October 29. The Bees won 3-1 at St Andrews on January 1 this year.

One minor change has seen the Boxing Day clash with Aston Villa start at 2pm, rather than 3pm, with both clubs agreeing to the change.

Last time the two sides me, the Bees emerged triumphant, winning by three goals to nil on January 31; the same day that saw Scott Hogan trade Griffin Park for Villa Park.

Brentford can expect to have at least two further fixtures moved, due to Sky Sports televising games and the 3pm blackout must be respected.

For those planning trips in the rest of August, it is advisable that you hold off booking anything until June 28, when Sky will announced the first set of fixtures.

For games in September, it would be recommended to wait until July 14, when the broadcaster will announce who is on the box.

October's fixtures will be announced on August 25, while November's will be confirmed on September 29.

November 3 is the time to start booking for fixtures over Christmas, while January fixtures will be announced on December 8.

December 29 will see the schedule for February confirmed with the final bulk announcement taking place on January 19, for matches up to March 31.

Fans will have at least five weeks notice when it comes to televised games and this will be done on a rolling basis for April's fixtures.

The only exemption to this rule is the final day of the season with there being no change to kick-off time.
