Brentford have sold more season tickets this summer than they had done at this point last year.

Almost 5,500 people have signed up to attend the 2017/18 campaign and the club are keen to see that figure rise.

The Bees froze season ticket prices from last season and have been encouraged by the sales shown so far.

A statement from the club released to GetWestLondon read: “We are very happy with season ticket sales.

“Sales are approaching 5,500 which is ahead of the same point in 2016 and more than we sold when the Sky Bet Championship fixtures began last season.
