Dan Bentley is looking forward to coming up against pals Scott Hogan and John Terry when Brentford travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Hogan had spent two and a half years at Griffin Park and the final six months of his time at the club were with Bentley.

Terry is familiar with a number of Brentford's players and shares the same agent as Bentley.

And while the stopper is looking forward to seeing friendly faces, he will only be interested in heading back to west London with three points.

John Terry has joined Aston Villa

He said: “(It will be nice to see) Scott and John Terry. John's got the same agent as me so it will be good to come up against two friendly faces.

“The game won't be on friendly terms with us looking for wins. We'll go in with plenty of energy and we'll want to go in and win the game. That's what we're going there to do.”

Brentford are yet to win in the Championship, while Villa have not enjoyed the best of starts to the season either, winning just one of their first five games.
