Wolves staged a late fightback to stun Brentford and take all three points from Griffin Park.

The Bees put in a tired performance and were second best for most of the contest and, somehow, led through Maxime Colin's well taken finish.

Harlee Dean's heroism at the back kept the home side in front but when they were breached in the closing stages Brentford collapsed in the space of two minutes.

First, Matt Doherty equalised from close range after sustained Wolves pressure and then, after Nico Yennaris gave the ball away, Helder Costa was on hand to slam the ball home.

It was no less than the visitors deserved as they outplayed an under-par Brentford side on their own turf.

Daniel Bentley 7: Nothing he could have done about the goals but it was not to be in the end.

Maxime Colin 7: In another life, the Frenchman was clearly a striker as he scored the first goal with an expert finish that any striker would be proud of.

Harlee Dean 8: A warrior in the first half and made a crucial goal saving block in the second. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

John Egan 7: A crunching challenge resulted in a yellow card. A wonderful block in the second half to prevent a Wolves equaliser.

Rico Henry 6: Had a bright start linking up well with Sergi Canos but was pegged back by Helder Costa and acquitted himself well.

Konstantin Kerschbaumer 8: Brentford's freshest midfielder was also their best and his lovely flick to Maxime Colin set up Brentford's goal.

Nico Yennaris 6: His injury was clearly hampering him in this game and he wasn't at the level he has been in recent weeks. Gave the ball away for Wolves' winner.

Ryan Woods 6: Seems drained after recent efforts and was below the standards he would set himself.

Jota 6: When it comes to Jota, Brentford expect goals and assists and he was not at the levels he would set himself.

Lasse Vibe 6: It wasn't Vibe's night. In his defence, he didn't get the service.

Sergi Canos 7: Lively in spells but drifted in and out of the game as the Bees were pegged back.
