BREDE Hangeland is ready to sit down and commit his future to Fulham.

The giant Norwegian still has 18 months to run on his contract at Craven Cottage , but boss Martin Jol has revealed he plans to open talks with the defender about a new deal in December.

Hangeland has been a revelation for Fulham since his switch from FC Copenhagen in 2008, making more than 150 appearances for the Whites.

His form has attracted the attention of a string of top clubs, with Arsenal among the teams reportedly keen on the 30-year-old.

But he insists he's happy in SW6.

"I'm keen to talk,” Hangeland told the Chronicle. “There's been some speculation linking me with other clubs but I'm not sure how concrete it was.

"I've really enjoyed my time at Fulham and loved every minute of it. Maybe there's more to come. I just want to keep doing the best I can for the club.”
