MARK Bowen admits he doesn't know what the future holds for himself at QPR.

The Welshman took charge of Rangers for this afternoon's defeat at Manchester United after Mark Hughes was axed yesterday.

Bowen has yet to speak to incoming boss Harry Redknapp, who watched from the stands as the R's slumped to a 3-1 loss at Old Trafford.

The 48-year-old and the rest of the backroom staff are expected to follow Hughes out of the Loftus Road exit door.

But Bowen admits he is in the dark over what lies ahead.

He said: “I haven't spoken to Harry so it's hard to comment.

“I'm still employed by the club and have done my job to the best of my ability.

“I don't know what Harry's got planned so we'll see what the next 24 hours bring.

“Whatever he chooses is right by him so I've got no gripes. I've been in the business for 33 years now so nothing surprises me.”
