Harrow Borough will have to be at their best tonight against a Carshalton team eager to impress new manager Stuart Massey.

The former Crystal Palace and Oxford midfielder was appointed as Robins boss on Sunday but will not take the reins until after tonight’s clash at Earlsmead.

Massey has been working alongside departing manager Ian Hazel, who took over from Tommy Williams in October, for the past two weeks and will be using this evening’s match to help formulate his plans.

With that in mind Dave Anderson’s side should not approach this one casually, despite their opponents languishing in 23rd in the Ryman Premier, with 14 points from 24 games.

Harrow are struggling themselves and have failed to register a win in their last seven league outings. You have to go back to November and a 3-1 win at Canvey for the last time the Reds picked up three points, with a Victor Osobu double and a Stephen Butterworth penalty doing the damage that day.

Kick-off this evening is scheduled for 7.45pm.
