Harrow Borough travel to Billericay Town on Saturday (3pm) before hosting Canvey Island at Earlsmead next Tuesday (7.30pm) and Howell wants his side to build on Tuesday's 2-0 win at Hastings United.
"We've always had good battles with Billericay who are a straight up and down 4-4-2 side. They've made some good signings but have had an indifferent start to the season. However, they are one of the favourites to make the play-offs but we'll go there with a positive attitude after getting our first win.
"As for Canvey, they are an unknown side. I know one or two of their players from the Essex football scene and again, we've just got to go there and get on with it."
