Harrow Borough boss David Howell was delighted with his side's first win of the season after they saw off Hastings United 2-0 on Tuesday night.
Jonathan Constant got them off to a flier with a poorly executed penalty after five minutes before man-of-the-match contender Kai Williams added his first goal for the club just after the hour mark.
"It's good to get the victory and it gave me the chance to prove to them that they are good enough," said the delighted manager. "The result and performance also sends out a message to those players who were unable to make the trip.
"We went there with a game plan and it worked perfectly. Hastings tried to play too much football in the sense they could not strike the right balance between providing entertainment and doing a job."
