Jota was unsurprisingly voted as your Brentford man of the match in the win at Blackburn on Tuesday night.

The Spanish wizard, who could have his own personal goal of the season competition, conjured up another contender with a 60-yard run and finish which drew the Bees level, before Andre Gray struck a late win from a significantly more modest two yards out.

So delicious was Jota's moment of magic that it made Brentford commentator Mark Burridge take a Brazilian turn with a classic cry of 'GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL'.

It also earned Jota an average rating of 8.6 out of 10 from your votes, putting him well clear of Toumani Diagouraga and Chris Long in joint second.

Diagouraga, who many felt was harshly dropped to the bench for the game, was only on the pitch for 27 minutes but still earned an average rating of 7.9, the same as Long, who led the line well and scored Brentford's first with a clinical finish.

Stuart Dallas came third with an average mark of 7.6, which will give him a boost ahead of his call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for their internationals next week. Check back for another vote after Saturday's game.
