Brentford travel to Birmingham on Wednesday night and they will be looking to claim bragging rights over their former charges, Jota, Harlee Dean and Maxime Colin.

The Bees are likely to be without Nico Yennaris who was knocked unconscious in the 3-2 win over Preston with Romaine Sawyers and Josh McEachran the options to replace him in the starting line-up.

The game is a bit too early for Lewis Macleod, who is a couple of weeks away from being in the squad while Alan Judge and Rico Henry have long-term injuries.

The other question marks for Smith are whether he continues with the Andreas Bjelland-John Egan partnership or brings Yoann Barbet back into the side.

Lasse Vibe shoots

Going forward, he will have a choice between giving Lasse Vibe a third straight start after he was taken off in second half stoppage time after an energetic display or bring Neal Maupay into the starting XI.
