BRENTFORD have signed Pim Balkestein on loan with view to a permanent move.

The Bees have agreed a fee for the Ipswich Town defender, who played eight games in west London earlier this season.

However, they still have to thrash out contract talks with the Dutchman.

Boss Andy Scott told the official site : "After the first spell it was evident what a good player he is, as I'm sure all Bees fans can bear witness.

"So to bring him back here is another feather in Brentford's cap."

Meanwhile, Alan Bennett has rejoined Wycombe Wanderers for the rest of the campaign.
