'Beesotted' B's Chiswick and District Division Three season ended with a disappointing defeat at Feltham Cowboys on Sunday.
The Bees knew they were up against it when two of their players got lost on the way to the ground, which forced boss Richard Smith to shuffle his pack and throw himself into the starting XI.
And the Brentford supporters' side soon found themselves two goals down within 15 minutes. The visitors rallied after the break, and should've pulled a goal back through Alan Mellor.
But they couldn't find a breakthrough and end the season in mid-table. Stand-in keeper Michael Blake and Smith impressed.
