Brentford will give a late fitness test to Nico Yennaris ahead of tomorrow night's trip to Blackpool.

The former Arsenal full-back suffered a back injury in last week's Capital One Cup thriller against Dagenham that kept him out of Saturday's defeat to Bournemouth.

And the Bees will give Yennaris the chance to prove his fitness in training today before they set off for Lancashire this afternoon.

Waiting game: Scott Hogan is yet to make his Bees debut

The game comes too soon for striker Scott Hogan, who has stepped up his recovery from an ankle problem and been pencilled in for the trip to Rotherham at the end of the month.

However, Sam Saunders (knee) is still out, while Adam Forshaw is due to feature for the development squad at Crewe on Wednesday.

New signings Jota Peleteiro and Jon Toral are in contention to make their debuts, but may have to settle for a place on the bench.
