Brentford's new youth team set up, to be known as Brentford B, have made six signings ahead of the new season.

The Bees closed their academy in May in order to set up a squad for players aged 17-21 and the club insist it will form close links to the first team and create a clear pathway for young players.

Flemming Pedersen will coach the group with Brentford legend Kevin O'Connor as his assistant.

They have agreed new contracts with Kyjuon Marsh-Brown, who signed his first professional contract, along with youth teamer Danny Parish.

The club has also signed former Stoke goalkeeper Dominic Kurasic and added second stopper Dimi Kyriatzis.

The Bees also brought in Jarvis Edobor from Chalfont St Peter to join the squad.

Denmark U16 international Lukas Talbro moves to the club from Odense.

Brentford will be announcing their set of fixtures in due course.
