Former club president Andy Lonsdale admits he has quit Bedfont & Feltham for an advisory role at crisis club Hereford United - but hasn't ruled out returning.

Lonsdale last month told Get West London he is only acting as a temporary consultant for the stricken former Conference club, who will kick off next season in the Southern League after being booted out of the highest tier of non-league football for financial irregularities.

He insisted he would only be with Hereford for a few weeks and had no intention of leaving Bedfont & Feltham, but the Hereford Times this week reported that Lonsdale has left The Orchard and is likely to join the Bulls in some capacity.

Lonsdale, who was also club president at Feltham before they merged with Bedfont Social Club two years ago, has since had his name removed from the list of officials on Bedfont & Feltham's website.

He told Get West London : "You tell me what's happening. I suppose you could say I have left Bedfont & Feltham, and I am still advising Hereford, but I may be back."
